TMA Brazil: fostering management, financial and legal environments to recover corporate performance and value

TMA Brazil is a non-profit organization, the Brazilian affiliate of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the US-based international association of professionals involved with corporate recovery.

Its members include executive and non-executive directors, turnaround managers, investors, creditors, lawyers, judges, court-appointed administrators, consultants, accountants, professors, students and all those engaged on corporate value generation in the restructuring, recovery or wind-down processes.

These professionals follow TMA's code of ethics and are devoted to the recovery and restructuring of companies in distress or crisis. They promote corporate turnaround best practices through seminars, courses and publications, approaching the three facets of management, finance and law.

In consideration of its social utility, TMA-Brazil has recently obtained from the Ministry of Justice the qualification of Civil Society of Public Interest Organization, an NGO recognized and regulated by law, which allows it to sign partnerships with the government.
